Persistent flushing, visible vessels and reactive skin
Rosacea is a long-term inflammatory condition, not a complexion that has been mistreated. It shows as flushing across the centre of the face, small visible blood vessels, and sometimes bumps that resemble acne but do not behave like it.
Light-based treatment targets the vessels responsible for the redness. Alongside that, the work is calming the skin and repairing a barrier that reacts to almost everything — and identifying the triggers that set yours off, which are personal and often surprising.
Rosacea is a medical diagnosis. If you have not had one, get one; treating the wrong thing is how skin gets worse.
