Gummy Smile
When smiling shows more gum than you would like
When smiling shows more gum than you would like
A gummy smile is usually a muscle doing its job a little too enthusiastically. The muscles of the upper lip lift further than average, exposing the gum line above the teeth.
Relaxing those muscles slightly reduces how far the lip travels. It is a small, precise treatment — the dose and the placement are the whole of it, and too much changes the smile rather than adjusting it.
It wears off over a few months, which is worth knowing before you start: this is something you maintain, not something you have done once.

Neurotoxin injectables listed include Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Daxxify, and Xeomin. These relax facial muscles to reduce facial wrinkles and lines.
